Ingredients

1 lb ground chicken

1 cup fresh spinach, chopped

1/2 cup white cheddar cheese, shredded

1/4 cup breadcrumbs

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 clove garlic, minced

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon olive oil (for cooking)

Burger buns (4)

Optional toppings: sliced avocados, lettuce, tomato, or your choice of condiments

Instructions

Combine the Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, chopped spinach, shredded white cheddar, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, minced garlic, onion powder, salt, black pepper, red pepper flakes (if using), and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until just combined; be careful not to over-mix.

Shape the Patties: Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each portion into a burger patty, about 1/2 inch thick.

Chill the Patties: Place the patties on a plate and refrigerate for about 30 minutes. This helps them hold their shape while cooking.

Cook the Burgers: Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the patties. Cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F).

Toast the Buns (Optional): In the last few minutes of cooking, slice your burger buns in half and toast them in the oven or on a skillet until golden brown.

Assemble the Burgers: Place each chicken patty on the bottom half of a toasted bun. Top with your choice of toppings, such as sliced avocado, lettuce, and tomato. Add the top bun and serve immediately.

Enjoy: These burgers are best served hot, so dig in and enjoy your homemade white cheddar and spinach chicken burgers!
