Ingredients

1 pre-made pizza crust (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup refried beans

1 cup taco sauce (or salsa)

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup cooked ground beef or turkey, seasoned with taco seasoning

1 cup chopped fresh tomatoes

1 cup shredded iceberg lettuce

½ cup sliced black olives

½ cup diced red onion

½ cup sour cream

¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro (optional)

1 jalapeño, sliced (optional for extra heat)

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

Spread Refried Beans: On the pizza crust, spread an even layer of refried beans, covering the entire surface.

Add Taco Sauce: Pour taco sauce over the beans and spread it evenly.

Layer the Cheese: Sprinkle half of the shredded cheddar cheese over the sauce.

Add Meat: Evenly distribute the seasoned ground beef or turkey over the cheese layer.

Top with More Cheese: Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top of the meat layer.

Bake: Place the pizza in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the crust is golden brown.

Prepare Toppings: While the pizza is baking, prepare the fresh toppings by chopping tomatoes, shredding lettuce, and slicing olives and onions.

Remove and Cool: Once the pizza is done baking, remove it from the oven and let it cool for a couple of minutes.

Add Toppings: Top the pizza with shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes, black olives, diced red onion, and jalapeño slices if using.

Serve with Sour Cream: Drizzle sour cream over the top or serve it on the side, and sprinkle with fresh cilantro for garnish.
