1 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup brown sugar, packed

1 large egg

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup crushed strawberry-flavored cereal (like Fruity Pebbles or Strawberry Cheerios)

1 cup mini chocolate chips

1/2 cup fresh strawberries, diced

Optional: powdered sugar, for dusting

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    Cream the Butters and Sugars: In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

      Add Egg and Vanilla: Beat in the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.

        Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.

          Mix in Crunch and Chocolate: Gently fold in the crushed strawberry cereal, mini chocolate chips, and diced fresh strawberries until evenly distributed in the dough.

            Scoop Out Cookies: Using a cookie scoop or two tablespoons, drop dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each blob as they will spread slightly while baking.
