Ingredients

1 lb flank steak, sliced against the grain

3 tablespoons olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 cup honey

1/4 cup soy sauce

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

1 teaspoon sesame oil

1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated

Salt and pepper to taste

8 oz rotini pasta

1 cup broccoli florets

1/4 cup green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

Marinate the Steak: In a bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, grated ginger, salt, and pepper. Add the sliced steak to the marinade. Cover and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours for more flavor) in the refrigerator.

Cook the Rotini: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the rotini pasta and cook according to package instructions, about 9-11 minutes, until al dente. During the last 3 minutes of cooking, add the broccoli florets. Drain and set aside.

Cook the Steak: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the marinated steak (reserve the excess marinade) and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until it's caramelized and cooked to your liking. Remove from skillet and set aside.

Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, pour in the reserved marinade and bring it to a simmer. Cook for 5-7 minutes, or until it thickens slightly.

Combine: Add the cooked rotini and broccoli to the skillet, tossing to coat them with the honey garlic sauce. Slice the steak into bite-sized pieces and add it back into the skillet, stirring until everything is well coated and heated through.

Serve: Plate the Sticky Honey Garlic Steak and Rotini, garnishing with chopped green onions and a sprinkle of sesame seeds for extra crunch.
