8 oz (225g) egg noodles (or your preferred noodle type)

4 tablespoons vegetable oil

6 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

2 tablespoons soy sauce

2 tablespoons oyster sauce (or mushroom sauce for a vegetarian version)

2 tablespoons hoisin sauce

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

1 cup broccoli florets

1 bell pepper, thinly sliced

4 green onions, chopped

Fresh cilantro, for garnish

Sesame seeds, for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Cook the Noodles: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the egg noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse with cold water to stop the cooking process. Set aside.

    Prepare the Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, and rice vinegar. Set this sauce aside.
