1 pound breakfast sausage

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 package (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Cooking spray (optional)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. If you prefer, you can lightly spray the baking sheet with cooking spray for easy cleanup.

    In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the breakfast sausage until browned and cooked through, breaking it apart with a spatula as it cooks, approximately 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess grease.

      Lower the heat and add the softened cream cheese to the skillet. Stir until melted and fully combined with the sausage.

        Stir in the garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian seasoning. Mix until the ingredients are well incorporated. Add the shredded cheddar cheese and stir just until melted. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

          Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles on your prepared baking sheet.

            At the wide end of each triangle, place a tablespoon of the sausage and cream cheese mixture. Carefully roll the dough over the filling, starting from the wide end and rolling to the tip to form a crescent shape.
