Ingredients

For the Chicken Marinade:

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon cumin

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon oregano

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon salt

1/4 cup olive oil

Juice of 2 limes

For the Creamy Green Sauce:

1 cup fresh cilantro leaves

1 jalapeño, seeded and chopped (adjust for heat preference)

1 avocado, peeled and pitted

1/2 cup sour cream

1/4 cup mayonnaise

Juice of 1 lime

1/4 teaspoon salt

1-2 tablespoons water (to thin the sauce if necessary)

Instructions

Marinating the Chicken:

In a large bowl, combine garlic, cumin, paprika, oregano, black pepper, salt, olive oil, and lime juice. Mix well to form a marinade. Add the chicken breasts, making sure they are fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (or up to 8 hours for more flavor).

      Preparing the Creamy Green Sauce:

In a blender or food processor, combine cilantro, jalapeño, avocado, sour cream, mayonnaise, lime juice, and salt. Blend until smooth. If the sauce is too thick, add water one tablespoon at a time until the desired consistency is reached. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.

          Grilling the Chicken:

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Remove chicken from marinade and let any excess drip off. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes per side or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Remove from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes.

              Serving:

Slice the grilled chicken and arrange it on a platter. Drizzle the creamy green sauce over the chicken and serve extra on the side. Garnish with additional cilantro if desired. Enjoy with sides like rice, beans, or grilled vegetables!
