Ingredients

1 pound cheese tortellini (fresh or frozen)

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 cups cooked chicken breast, diced (rotisserie chicken works well)

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup milk

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Optional: Red pepper flakes (for a bit of heat)

Instructions

Cook the Tortellini: In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the tortellini according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Sauté the Chicken: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced chicken and cook for about 3-4 minutes, until heated through. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1 minute until fragrant.

Make the Alfredo Sauce: Lower the heat to medium-low in the skillet, then add the heavy cream and milk, stirring to combine. Allow it to heat up gently. Add in the grated Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Whisk the sauce until the cheese melts and the mixture is creamy.

Combine Everything: Add the cooked tortellini to the skillet, gently tossing to coat the pasta thoroughly in the sauce. If the sauce is too thick, you can add a splash of milk to reach your desired consistency.

Garnish and Serve: Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Serve the Chicken Tortellini Alfredo hot, garnished with fresh parsley and a sprinkle of red pepper flakes if desired.
