Ingredients

4 large round sourdough bread rolls

4 large eggs

1 cup cooked ham, diced

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/4 cup milk

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh chives, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Using a sharp knife, carefully hollow out the bread rolls, creating a bowl shape. Reserve the removed bread for another use such as breadcrumbs or croutons.

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Mix in the diced ham and half of the shredded cheddar cheese into the egg mixture.

Place the hollowed bread rolls on a baking sheet. Pour the egg and ham mixture evenly into each bread bowl, filling them about 3/4 full.

Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top of each filled bread bowl.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the eggs are fully set and the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before garnishing with chopped chives.

Serve warm and enjoy the deliciousness without any messy cleanup!
