1 ripe avocado, halved and pitted

1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries

1 banana, frozen (optional for added creaminess)

1 cup fresh spinach or kale (for an added green boost)

1 cup coconut milk (or your preferred milk)

1 tbsp honey or maple syrup (adjust for sweetness)

Juice of 1 large lemon

Zest of 1 lemon

A handful of ice cubes (if using fresh blueberries)

Pinch of sea salt (to enhance flavors)

Instructions
 

Begin by preparing the ingredients: scoop out the flesh of the avocado and place it in a blender. Add the blueberries, banana (if using), and spinach or kale.

    Pour in the coconut milk along with the honey or maple syrup, lemon juice, and zest. Add a pinch of sea salt to amplify the flavors.

      If you’re using fresh blueberries, add a handful of ice cubes to the blender for a refreshing texture.

        Blend on high speed until all the ingredients are fully combined and the mixture is smooth and creamy. Stop occasionally to scrape down the sides of the blender for an even blend.

          Taste the smoothie and adjust sweetness with more honey or maple syrup if desired.
