Ingredients

1 lb fresh salmon fillet, skin removed

1/4 cup hot honey (store-bought or homemade)

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)

1 tablespoon fresh lime juice

1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro (for garnish)

Salt and pepper to taste

Lime wedges (for serving)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

Prepare the Salmon: Cut the salmon fillet into bite-sized cubes (about 1 inch). Pat them dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.

Make the Marinade: In a medium bowl, whisk together the hot honey, soy sauce, olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, lime juice, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Marinate the Salmon: Add the salmon cubes to the marinade and toss gently until they are well coated. Allow the salmon to marinate for about 15-30 minutes at room temperature.

Bake the Salmon: Arrange the marinated salmon bites on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven and let it cool for a minute. Garnish with chopped fresh cilantro and serve with lime wedges on the side for an extra zing.
