Ingredients

1 lb (450g) fresh salmon fillet, skin removed

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons honey

1 tablespoon sriracha sauce (adjust for spice preference)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper, to taste

2 green onions, finely sliced (for garnish)

1 tablespoon sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Start by preheating your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Prepare the Salmon: Cut the salmon fillet into bite-sized cubes (about 1-inch pieces). Place them in a large bowl.

Make the Hot Honey Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, honey, sriracha sauce, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Coat the Salmon: Pour the hot honey sauce over the salmon cubes, making sure to coat each piece evenly. Let them marinate for about 10 minutes to absorb the flavors.

Arrange for Baking: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Arrange the coated salmon bites in a single layer on the sheet.

Bake the Salmon: Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Garnish and Serve: Once cooked, remove the salmon bites from the oven and let them cool slightly. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.

Enjoy: Serve your Hot Honey Salmon Bites warm, either as an appetizer or a main dish alongside rice or salad.
