Ingredients

1 cup mixed fresh berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)

1 large banana, sliced

1 cup vanilla pudding (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup whipped cream (or whipped topping)

1 cup granola (preferably with nuts)

½ cup assorted nuts (almonds, walnuts, pecans), roughly chopped

2 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional for sweetness)

Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Ingredients: Wash the mixed berries and slice the banana. If using, prepare the vanilla pudding according to package instructions or make it from scratch.

Layer the Base: In a large glass trifle bowl or individual serving glasses, start by adding a layer of vanilla pudding at the bottom.

Add Fruits: Layer a mix of the fresh berries and banana slices over the pudding. Ensure even distribution for a colorful appearance.

Whipped Cream Layer: Gently spread a layer of whipped cream over the fruits, creating a light and fluffy contrast.

Add Crunch: Sprinkle a layer of granola on top of the whipped cream for a delightful crunch. Follow this with a layer of chopped nuts to add texture and flavor.

Repeat Layers: Repeat the layering process (pudding, fruits, whipped cream, granola, and nuts) until all ingredients are used, finishing with a topping of whipped cream and a sprinkle of granola and nuts on the top.

Drizzle and Chill: If desired, drizzle honey or maple syrup over the top for added sweetness. Cover the trifle and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld and the dessert to chill.

Serve: Just before serving, garnish with fresh mint leaves and an additional sprinkle of any leftover fruits and nuts. Scoop and enjoy this delightful desert!
