Ingredients

12 jumbo pasta shells

1 cup ricotta cheese

1 cup fresh spinach, chopped (or 1/2 cup frozen and thawed)

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup marinara sauce (store-bought or homemade)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the jumbo shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside to cool slightly.

Prepare the Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, chopped spinach, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

Stuff the Shells: Carefully stuff each cooked shell with the spinach and ricotta filling, using a spoon or a piping bag for easier filling.

Assemble the Dish: Spread 1/2 cup of marinara sauce evenly on the bottom of a baking dish. Place the stuffed shells in the dish, seam side up. Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the shells and sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese.

Bake: Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired and serve warm.
