Ingredients

6 large eggs

1 cup whole milk

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1 cup diced cooked ham

1/2 cup finely chopped onion

1/2 cup finely chopped bell pepper (any color)

1 cup fresh spinach, chopped

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon olive oil

Fresh herbs for garnish (optional, such as chives or parsley)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9-inch pie dish or a round baking pan with cooking spray or olive oil.

Sauté Vegetables: In a skillet, add olive oil over medium heat. Sauté the chopped onion and bell pepper for about 3-4 minutes, until they are softened. Add the chopped spinach and cook for another 1-2 minutes until wilted. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.

Prepare the Egg Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and whole milk until well combined. Add in the garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.

Combine Ingredients: Stir in the sautéed vegetable mixture, diced ham, and shredded cheddar cheese into the egg mixture until evenly distributed.

Pour and Bake: Pour the mixture into the prepared pie dish. Use a spatula to ensure the ingredients are evenly spread out.

Bake: Place in the preheated oven and bake for 35-40 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the center is set (you can check by inserting a knife in the center; it should come out clean).

Cool and Serve: Let the quiche cool for about 5-10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired before serving.
