Ingredients

1 lb kielbasa sausage, sliced

4 cups fresh broccoli florets

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup chicken broth

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1 medium onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon olive oil

Salt to taste

2 cups cooked pasta (optional, for serving)

Instructions

Sauté the Kielbasa: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced kielbasa and sauté until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Cook the Vegetables: In the same skillet, add the diced onion and minced garlic. Sauté until the onion becomes translucent, about 3-4 minutes.

Add the Broccoli: Stir in the broccoli florets and cook for another 4-5 minutes until they start to soften.

Create the Creamy Sauce: Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream. Stir well to combine. Bring to a gentle simmer. Add the smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt to taste.

Combine Ingredients: Return the cooked kielbasa to the skillet. Let everything simmer together for about 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Add Cheese: Reduce the heat to low and gradually stir in the shredded cheddar cheese. Continue stirring until the cheese has melted and the sauce is creamy and well combined.

Serve: If desired, spoon the creamy kielbasa broccoli mixture over cooked pasta. Garnish with extra cheese or herbs if desired.
