Ingredients

1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, finely chopped

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon chili powder

1 teaspoon ground cumin

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup coleslaw mix

1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro

2 green onions, finely sliced

1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup ranch dressing

12 wonton wrappers

Oil for frying

Instructions

Cook the Chicken: In a skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil. Once hot, add the finely chopped chicken, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, ground cumin, salt, and pepper. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and any moisture has evaporated. Remove from heat and let it cool.

Prepare the Wontons: Heat the oil in a deep skillet or fryer to 350°F (175°C). While the oil is heating, use a muffin tin to shape the wonton wrappers. Press the wrappers into the muffin cups to create a taco shape. Fry the wonton wrappers in the hot oil for 2-3 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Remove them and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

Mix the Filling: In a large bowl, combine the cooked chicken, coleslaw mix, chopped cilantro, and sliced green onions. Mix well until everything is evenly coated.

Assemble the Tacos: Spoon a generous amount of the chicken mixture into each wonton shell. Top each taco with shredded cheddar cheese and a drizzle of ranch dressing.

Serve: Arrange the tacos on a plate and garnish with extra cilantro and green onions if desired. Enjoy them warm and crispy!
