Ingredients

2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent roll dough

16 oz cream cheese, softened

¾ cup granulated sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 large eggs

1 tsp lemon juice

½ cup powdered sugar (for topping)

Fresh berries (for garnish)

Cooking spray or butter (for greasing)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.

Prepare the Cream Cheese Mixture: In a medium bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, eggs, and lemon juice until smooth and well combined. Set aside.

Roll Out Crescent Dough: Open one can of crescent roll dough and carefully unroll it. Lay it flat into the greased baking dish, pressing the seams together to form a single layer.

Spread Cream Cheese Mixture: Evenly spread the cream cheese mixture over the crescent roll layer in the baking dish.

Top with Second Layer of Dough: Take the second can of crescent roll dough, unroll it, and place it over the cream cheese mixture. Again, pinch the seams together to seal.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the center is set.

Cool and Dust: Remove the casserole from the oven and let it cool for about 10-15 minutes. Sprinkle powdered sugar evenly over the top.

Serve: Cut into squares and serve warm, garnished with fresh berries for a delightful touch.
