Ingredients

1 cup rolled oats

1 ½ cups almond milk (or any milk of your choice)

1 ripe banana, sliced

1 tablespoon maple syrup (or honey)

2 tablespoons chia seeds

½ teaspoon vanilla extract

¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon

2 tablespoons nut butter (peanut, almond, or your preference)

2 tablespoons dark chocolate chips

2 tablespoons crushed walnuts (or your choice of nuts)

Fresh strawberries and additional banana slices for topping

Instructions

In a mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, almond milk, chia seeds, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Stir well until fully combined.

In a small skillet over medium heat, add the sliced banana with a drizzle of maple syrup. Cook until bananas turn golden and caramelized, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

Add the caramelized bananas to the oat mixture and stir gently to combine.

Divide the oat mixture into two jars or containers, layering it with dollops of nut butter and sprinkling dark chocolate chips and crushed walnuts on top.

Seal the jars and refrigerate overnight (or for at least 4 hours) to allow the oats to soften and flavors to meld.

In the morning, give the oats a good stir and top them with fresh strawberries and extra banana slices before serving.

Optional: Drizzle with additional maple syrup or a sprinkle of cinnamon for extra flavor.
