Ingredients

1 lb (450g) beef sirloin, thinly sliced against the grain

3 tablespoons oyster sauce

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon cornstarch

1 tablespoon vegetable oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced

1 red bell pepper, sliced

1 cup snap peas

3 green onions, chopped

1 teaspoon sesame oil

Cooked rice, for serving

Instructions

In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced beef, oyster sauce, soy sauce, and cornstarch. Toss until the beef is well coated. Let it marinate for about 15-20 minutes while you prepare the vegetables.

Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Add the minced garlic and ginger, and sauté them for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

Increase the heat to high and add the marinated beef to the skillet. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until the beef is browned and nearly cooked through.

Add the sliced red bell pepper and snap peas to the skillet. Stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.

Drizzle the sesame oil over the stir-fry and toss to combine.

Remove from heat, garnish with chopped green onions, and serve over cooked rice.
