Ingredients

8 oz lo mein noodles

1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced

2 cups fresh broccoli florets

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 inch ginger, grated

¼ cup soy sauce

2 tablespoons oyster sauce

1 tablespoon cornstarch

1 tablespoon water

1 tablespoon sesame oil

2 green onions, sliced

Sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Cook the lo mein noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and water. Mix well and set aside.

Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add the beef slices and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove from the pan and keep warm.

In the same pan, add the remaining oil. Sauté the minced garlic and grated ginger until fragrant (about 30 seconds).

Add the broccoli florets to the pan and stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes until they start to become tender.

Return the cooked beef to the pan. Pour the sauce mixture over the beef and broccoli, tossing everything together to coat evenly.

Add the cooked lo mein noodles to the pan. Drizzle with sesame oil and toss to combine all ingredients and heat through, about 2 minutes.

Remove from heat, garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds if desired. Serve immediately.
