Ingredients

2 lbs chicken wings

1 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite brand or homemade)

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for extra heat)

Salt and black pepper to taste

Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Chicken Wings: Start by preheating your oven to 425°F (220°C). Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels to ensure they become crispy while baking.

Season the Wings: In a large mixing bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, and black pepper. Toss the chicken wings in the mixture until they are well coated.

Bake the Wings: Arrange the chicken wings in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.

Glaze with BBQ Sauce: After 25 minutes, remove the wings from the oven. Using tongs, toss the wings in one cup of BBQ sauce until they are fully coated. Return the wings to the oven and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes or until the wings are crispy and caramelized.

Finish and Serve: Once cooked, remove the wings from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes. Optionally, garnish with chopped fresh parsley for a pop of color. Serve hot with extra BBQ sauce or your favorite dipping sauce on the side.
