Ingredients

4 cups all-purpose flour (plus extra for dusting)

1 ½ teaspoons sea salt

1 teaspoon sugar

2 teaspoons instant yeast

1 ½ cups warm water (about 110°F)

2 tablespoons olive oil (plus extra for greasing)

1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional for flavor)

Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sea salt, sugar, instant yeast, and garlic powder (if using). Mix well to evenly distribute the dry ingredients.

Create a well in the center of the dry mixture and pour in the warm water and olive oil.

Using a wooden spoon or your hands, mix the ingredients until a shaggy dough begins to form.

Transfer the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead for about 8-10 minutes, until the dough becomes smooth and elastic.

Lightly grease a large bowl with olive oil, place the dough in the bowl, and cover with a damp cloth.

Let the dough rise in a warm, draft-free area for 1-2 hours, or until it has doubled in size.

Once risen, punch down the dough to release the air. Divide it into 2-3 equal portions, depending on the size of pizzas you prefer.

Shape each portion into a ball and let them rest on a floured surface, covered with a cloth, for an additional 20-30 minutes.

Preheat your oven to the highest temperature (around 475°F to 500°F) and let your pizza stone heat up inside if you’re using one.

Roll out each dough ball on a floured surface to your desired thickness and shape, then add your favorite toppings.

Bake your pizzas on a preheated pizza stone or a baking sheet for about 10-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and crispy.

Prep Time: 20 minutes | Total Time: 2 hours 30 minutes | Servings: 2-3 pizzas
