Ingredients

1 package of store-bought pizza dough (or homemade)

1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese

½ cup of pepperoni slices (or your choice of toppings)

¼ cup of marinara sauce (for dipping)

1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning

1 tablespoon of olive oil

Cooking spray (for the air fryer)

Instructions

Prepare the Dough: If using store-bought pizza dough, let it sit at room temperature for about 20 minutes. If making dough from scratch, prepare it according to your recipe and allow it to rise.

Roll Out the Dough: On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough to about ¼ inch thick. Use a pizza cutter or knife to cut it into small squares (about 3x3 inches).

Fill the Rolls: Place a small amount (about 1 tablespoon) of shredded mozzarella cheese and a few slices of pepperoni onto the center of each square. Sprinkle a little Italian seasoning over the cheese and toppings for enhanced flavor.

Seal the Rolls: Moisten the edges of each square with a little water. Fold the dough over to create a triangle or rectangle, depending on your preference, and press the edges firmly to seal. Optionally, crimp the edges with a fork for an extra tight seal.

Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.

Prepare for Air Frying: Lightly coat the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place the pizza rolls in a single layer in the basket, leaving some space in between to allow for airflow. Brush the tops of the rolls with olive oil for a crispy texture.

Air Fry the Rolls: Cook the pizza rolls at 375°F (190°C) for about 8-10 minutes, flipping them halfway through. They should be golden brown and crispy when done.

Serve: Remove the pizza rolls from the air fryer and let them cool for a minute. Serve warm with marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
